  • E. Gervase Warner

    President & Chief Executive Officer

     

    Gervase has been President and Group CEO of the Massy Group of Companies since 2009. Prior to his appointment, he also served as the Executive Chairman of the Group's Energy & Industrial Gases Business Unit and has served as a Director of Massy Holdings Limited since 2004, the year in which he joined the Group.

    Prior to his Massy experience, Gervase was a Partner at the international management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company, where he spent 11 years serving clients in the US, Latin America and Caribbean across a wide range of industries. He currently serves on the Trinidad & Tobago Board of Citigroup Merchant Bank Limited, the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and United Way Trinidad & Tobago and is the Chairman of the Caribbean Breast Centre Limited.

    David O'Brien

    Group Executive Vice President and Executive Chairman Automotive & Industrial Equipment and Financial Services Lines of Business

     
    David serves as an Executive Director on the Board of Massy Holdings Ltd. in addition to serving on the boards of several Massy subsidiary companies. He joined the Group in 2006, during which time, he also served as the Executive Chairman of the Financial, Property and Other Business Unit. Prior to joining the Group, David held senior positions at Sagicor Life Incorporated, including Investment Manager, Deputy General Manager and Executive Vice President & General Manager of Sagicor's Trinidad operations. David has also held directorships on the boards of RGM Limited, DFL Caribbean Limited, the Reinsurance Company of Trinidad & Tobago Limited and TIDCO. He was also the Chairman of the North Central Regional Health Authority, a member of the Multi-Sectorial Core Group for Trinidad and Tobago's Vision 2020 and Chairman of the committee to establish the National Policy for Disabled Persons.

    Frere Delmas

    Group Executive Vice President and Executive Chairman Integrated Retail Business Unit & Country Manager, Barbados & the Eastern Caribbean

     
    Frere was appointed as an Executive Director to the Board of Massy Holdings Ltd., on November 7, 2015 and has served as Country Manager for the Massy Group in Barbados since January 2013. Frere serves as the Board Chairman for several Massy subsidiary companies and as a Director on others. Frere has an accumulated wealth of management experience and knowledge in the supermarket and wholesale distribution industries over his 36-year career in the field. He is a former Executive Chairman of Massy's Retail Business Unit and before that was the Executive Chairman of the Barbados Shipping &Trading Food Retail and Distribution Division as well as a BS&T Director.

    Ian Chinapoo

    Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer

     
    Ian joined the Group as an Executive Director of Massy Holdings Ltd and Group Chief Financial Officer effective June 1 st    2018. Ian brings decades of experience with multinationals particularly in the areas of investment banking, portfolio management and private equity. His experience will assist us in fulfilling the Group's aspirations as we chart our strategic road ahead. Ian's career spans more than twenty-two years in banking and financial services throughout the Caribbean and Central American region. He has also worked with CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank and with Citigroup. Ian has a BSc in Accounting (First Class Honours) from the University of the West Indies and has lectured in the EMBA, IMBA and MSc programmes at the (now) Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business in Trinidad since 1995.

    Julie Avey

    Group Senior Vice President People & Culture

     

    Julie joined the Executive Community in August 01, 2015 and is passionate about the People and Culture of the Massy Group.  "We are systematically and responsibly dismantling a legacy culture of "command and control" to unleash the potential of the creativity and abundance of each Massy employee so that we can serve our customers and delight all of our stakeholders and fearlessly thrive in this age of disruption".  Prior to this role, Julie was part of the Automotive and Industrial Equipment Business Unit where she had various roles including General Manager of the Car Dealerships in Massy Motors in Colombia, the first acquisition in Colombia by the Massy Group in 2014.  Prior to joining the Group in 2010, Julie was GM/Consultant for the Trinidad office of a Change Management Consultancy.  Earlier in her career, Julie was part of the International Deployment team for a global supply chain project for a pharmaceutical multinational with responsibilities in the Far East and Latin America.

     

    Bruce Mackenzie

    Group Strategy Officer

     

    Bruce joined the Executive Community in March 2016.  He is responsible for the development and orchestration of the Strategy function at Massy Group and acquiring, incubating and developing innovative capabilities which enhance the Group's competitive advantage.  He brings a broad base of experience in general management, strategy, engineering, commercial and intellectual property experience gained in his former roles in Trinidad and in the United Kingdom.  Bruce is a non-executive director of the Trinidad and Tobago chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as its Vice President.

     

    Thomas Pantin

    Group Senior Vice-President & Executive Chairman of the Retail Line of Business

     

    Thomas has over 25 years of retail experience within the Caribbean.  When he joined the Massy Group in 2011 as Senior Vice-President of Special Projects and Growth, he was responsible for managing Massy's exit from the Tourism sector and later moved on as Senior Vice-President & Executive Chairman of the Consumer Finance Line of Business. Prior to joining the Massy Group Thomas held senior positions at Courts PLC including Commercial Director, Regional Director/CEO and was also the CEO of The Office Authority Ltd. with headquarters in Trinidad & Tobago.

     

    Peter Graham

    Executive Chairman Industrial Gases Line of Business & Country Manager

     

    Peter joined the Executive Community October 1, 2016 and is responsible for the operational and financial outcomes of the Gases Line of Business with the first consideration being 'no harm to people'. Peter has been with the Massy Group for twelve (12) years and previously served as CEO of two major subsidiaries in addition to member of the Group's Investment Committee.

     

    Prior to joining the Massy Group, Peter spent seventeen (17) years with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in roles in manufacturing and general management and served as the Managing Director Goodyear Jamaica for eight years.

     

    Angélique Parisot-Potter

    Group General Counsel & Senior Vice President Legal

     

    Angélique joined the Group and the Executive Committee on March 1 st, 2016 prior to which she had extensive international experience spanning over fifteen years in the oil & gas sector working in the UK, Brazil, Trinidad & Tobago and Egypt operating in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments and high-risk regions.  Angelique has held many leadership positions in legal, compliance and administrative areas, and her expertise includes energy, M&A, corporate governance, compliance, employment, labour law and the financial and construction industries.

     

    Angélique is a qualified UK Solicitor entitled to practice in the Commonwealth Caribbean, and, as the Group General Counsel she leads a high performing team of ethical legal professionals with a focus on collaboration and helping to shape discussion and debate around business issues. Angélique's role as a member of the Executive Committee also includes leading and developing the Group's Business Integrity framework.

     

    Eugene Tiah

    Group Senior Vice President & Executive Chairman of the Energy & Industrial Gases Business Unit

     

    Eugene joined the Massy Group in 2014, prior to which he had served as President of Phoenix Park Gas Processors Ltd. for 13 years.  Eugene's experience covers all aspects of process plant engineering, operations and overall business management.  He has held various positions in operations management, project management, construction management and business development, both in Trinidad and the United States.  Immediately prior to his appointment as President of PPGPL, he held the positions of Director of Special Projects for Natural Gas Liquid Marketing and System Manager - Cashion/Mustang/Hennessey System at Conoco in Houston, Texas.

     

    Wendy Kerry

    Group Senior Vice President, Corporate Governance & Corporate Secretary

     

    Wendy is an Attorney and Barrister at Law, admitted to practice in Trinidad & Tobago and England & Wales.  She served as Corporate Secretary & Legal Advisor for the Massy Group seven years prior to her appointment to her current post. Prior to joining the Massy Group, she held the positions of Director, Legal & Corporate Services at Caribbean Airlines and Manager, Corporate Services & Business Development at Development Finance. Ms. Kerry also served as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop the Vision 2020 Draft National Strategic Plan for Trinidad & Tobago and worked on National Sector Strategic Plans for; Governance and Institutional Structures, the Administration of Justice, and Law and Legal Affairs. 

     

    Wendy currently serves as a Director on the Board of the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange and Chair of the AMCHAM Legislative Committee. She is a former Member of the Board of Directors of the Trinidad & Tobago Transparency Institute and has served as a Member of the National Standing Negotiating Committee on Air Services Agreements.

     

    David Affonso

    Group Senior Vice President & Executive Chairman Distribution Line of Business

     
    David joined the Executive Committee in March 2012 upon his appointment as Chairman of the Group's Distribution line of Business. He has been with the Group for over 28 years working with Group companies in both Guyana and Trinidad. David has more than 20 years of experience in the Distribution and Retail sector and has served as CEO of both the Group's Retail and Distribution businesses in Trinidad. In his current role David is responsible for the Group's distribution businesses across the region, he also serves as Chairman of the Group's investment committee

    David Jardim

    Group Senior Vice President & Executive Chairman Automotive & Industrial Equipment Line of Business

     

    David joined the Executive Committee in March 2016 upon his appointment as Chairman of the AIE Line of Business. David had been the Chief Executive Officer of Massy Motors since December 2009 and prior to that he was CEO of Massy Machinery. David has been with the Massy Group since 1990 when he joined from Johnson & Johnson (Trinidad) Ltd. where he had spent 5 years in a technical management capacity. David serves on the Board of Massy Guyana Ltd. and is a trustee of the Massy Trinidad pension plan. 

     

    Howard Hall

    Group Senior Vice President & Executive Chairman, Financial Services Line of Business

     
    Howard joined the Massy Group as CEO of Massy United Insurance in August 2011 and joined the Group’s Executive Committee on March 1, 2016. He has more than 30 years’ experience in financial and general management having held senior Executive positions in the Life Insurance, Property and Casualty Insurance and Airline industries.

    Prior to joining the Massy Group Howard served at Air Jamaica as Senior Vice President and CFO of Air Jamaica Limited where he was a key player in preparing the Airline for divestment. He later served as Transition General Manager after the divestment. Before that he worked at the ICWI Group of Companies as the Vice President - Finance, Administration and HRD where he Led the Finance, Human Resources and Administrative functions. He has also worked with Life of Jamaica in the role of CFO, where he was a key participant in the financial, operational and capital restructuring of the company.

    Fenwick Reid

    Group Senior Vice President & Executive Chairman, Information Technologies & Communications Business Unit

     
    Fenwick has had a long career in the ICT industry spanning over 35 years, in areas such as engineering, Technical Support, project management, and sales and marketing. He has been pivotal in the introduction of ICT innovation in the Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean and has also been a member of key ICT related associations including, Uniforum T&T (Former Vice President) and The Information and Communications Technology Society of Trinidad & Tobago ICTS (Former President). In Trinidad, Fenwick is currently a member of the E- Business Roundtable, The National e-Commerce Committee and is the Chairman of the Digital Transformation Committee of AMCHAM. He is also a director of G4S Secure Solutions T&T Limited.

    Alberto Rozo

    Country Manager, Latin America

     
    Alberto joined the Executive Community in November 2014. He is responsible for new business development for The Massy Group in Latin America, with emphasis on Colombia. Alberto is particularly focused on embedding the Massy culture in the new Latin American operations while at the same time ensuring that the local cultural perspective is reflected in these businesses Massy. In addition to a background in engineering, Alberto has had a broad base of experience in general management, strategy and M&As. Prior to joining The Massy Group, Alberto served in senior roles in Colombia, USA, Brazil and Trinidad & Tobago over 18 years at Wood Plc (prior Wood Group), finally as Latin America & Caribbean Regional Director.
