Jeremy Nurse

Jeremy has served the Group for over 19 years in various roles including senior management positions and directorships on several of the Group’s subsidiary boards.  He has demonstrated exemplary and pragmatic leadership in overseeing the Group’s strategy function, as well as in the execution of divesting non-core and underperforming assets in recent years.

Jeremy graduated from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics with first class honours, and he holds two master’s degrees from Durham University and IE Business School.  He is also a certified International Mergers & Acquisitions Expert charter holder.

Julie Avey

Julie joined the Executive Community in August 01, 2015 and is passionate about the People and Culture of the Massy Group. “We are systematically and responsibly dismantling a legacy culture of “command and control” to unleash the potential of the creativity and abundance of each Massy employee so that we can serve our customers and delight all of our stakeholders and fearlessly thrive in this age of disruption”. Prior to this role, Julie was part of the Automotive and Industrial Equipment Business Unit where she had various roles including General Manager of the Car Dealerships in Massy Motors in Colombia, the first acquisition in Colombia by the Massy Group in 2014. Prior to joining the Group in 2010, Julie was GM/Consultant for the Trinidad office of a Change Management Consultancy. Earlier in her career, Julie was part of the International Deployment team for a global supply chain project for a pharmaceutical multinational with responsibilities in the Far East and Latin America.

Angélique Parisot-Potter

Angélique joined the Group and the Executive Committee on March 1 st, 2016 prior to which she had extensive international experience spanning over fifteen years in the oil & gas sector working in the UK, Brazil, Trinidad & Tobago and Egypt operating in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments and high-risk regions. Angelique has held many leadership positions in legal, compliance and administrative areas, and her expertise includes energy, M&A, corporate governance, compliance, employment, labour law and the financial and construction industries.

Angélique is a qualified UK Solicitor entitled to practice in the Commonwealth Caribbean, and, as the Group General Counsel she leads a high performing team of ethical legal professionals with a focus on collaboration and helping to shape discussion and debate around business issues. Angélique’s role as a member of the Executive Committee also includes leading and developing the Group’s Business Integrity framework.

Wendy Kerry

Wendy is an Attorney and Barrister at Law, admitted to practice in Trinidad & Tobago and England & Wales.  She served as Corporate Secretary & Legal Advisor for the Massy Group seven years prior to her appointment to her current post. Prior to joining the Massy Group, she held the positions of Director, Legal & Corporate Services at Caribbean Airlines and Manager, Corporate Services & Business Development at Development Finance. Ms. Kerry also served as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop the Vision 2020 Draft National Strategic Plan for Trinidad & Tobago and worked on National Sector Strategic Plans for; Governance and Institutional Structures, the Administration of Justice, and Law and Legal Affairs. 

Wendy currently serves as a Director on the Board of the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange and Chair of the AMCHAM Legislative Committee. She is a former Member of the Board of Directors of the Trinidad & Tobago Transparency Institute and has served as a Member of the National Standing Negotiating Committee on Air Services Agreements.

Marc Rostant

Marc is a true Massy alum having started his career with the Group in 2006 in the Financial & Other Services Business Unit and later at NEALCO Real Estate and Pereira & Company Limited. He has been with the Massy Motors and Machines Portfolio since 2011 where he managed the National, Alamo and Enterprise regional expansion initiative.

Prior to his appointment as Chairman, Marc was the Senior Vice President with particular focus on the expansion of the Portfolio into the Colombian market. In this role he has led a dynamic team of skilled executives who have grown the Massy Motors business significantly across 3 major cities along with the establishment of the Enterprise Holdings rental car franchise in 6 cities in Colombia.

David Affonso

David joined the Board of Massy Holdings Ltd. in April 2019 upon his appointment as Executive Chairman, Integrated Retail Business Unit. He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2012 when he was appointed to his prior role as Chairman of the Group’s Distribution line of Business. David has been with the Group for over 30 years working with Group companies in both Guyana and Trinidad and has more than 20 years of experience in the Distribution and Retail sector having previously served as CEO of both the Group’s Retail and Distribution businesses in Trinidad. In his current role David is responsible for the Group’s retail and distribution businesses across the region, and serves as Chairman of the Group’s investment committee.

David O’Brien

David joined the Group in 2006 and during that time, he has held several senior positions in the Group most recently serving as an Executive Director on the Board of Massy Holdings Ltd and as the Executive Chairman of the Group’s Motors & Machines Portfolio. Prior to joining the Group, David held senior positions at Sagicor Life Incorporated. David has also held directorships on the boards of RGM Limited, DFL Caribbean Limited, the Reinsurance Company of Trinidad & Tobago Limited and TIDCO. He was also the Chairman of the North Central Regional Health Authority, a member of the Multi-Sectorial Core Group for Trinidad and Tobago’s Vision 2020 and Chairman of the committee to establish the National Policy for Disabled Persons.

David is now focused on developing international expansion opportunities, including potential acquisitions and new business establishments consistent with the Group’s aspiration and vision to expand beyond the Caribbean Basin.

Vaughn S. Martin

Vaughn brings over twenty five years of Financial & Business Management experience in various business sectors, with twenty one of these spent in the Oil & Gas industry. Prior to his appointment, Vaughn held the position of Managing Director at Massy’s joint venture company, Massy Wood Group Ltd., for seven years. He has held several other executive roles within the Massy Group including Country Manager in both Suriname and Ghana and Finance Director of Massy’s Energy & Industrial Gases Business Unit.

Vaughn holds an Executive MBA from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and is FCCA-designated by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. As a past national volleyball athlete, Vaughn maintains his passion for sport which continues to fuel his involvement in several sporting activities across Trinidad & Tobago.

E. Gervase Warner

Gervase has been President and Group CEO of the Massy Group of Companies since 2009. Prior to his appointment, he also served as the Executive Chairman of the Group’s Energy & Industrial Gases Business Unit and has served as a Director of Massy Holdings Limited since 2004, the year in which he joined the Group.

Prior to his Massy experience, Gervase was a Partner at the international management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company, where he spent 11 years serving clients in the US, Latin America and Caribbean across a wide range of industries. He currently serves on the Trinidad & Tobago Board of Citigroup Merchant Bank Limited, the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and United Way Trinidad & Tobago and is the Chairman of the CARICOM Private Sector Organisation.
